Bushey Solar is a trading name of Lenzie Consulting Ltd and an installer-introduction service. The enquiry form asks about your property, electricity use and interest in solar, storage or charging. Full UK postcodes are accepted, including addresses outside the featured local areas.

Choose whether you want an introduction to a partner installer. A partner can arrange a booking within 24 hours of receiving the enquiry; the actual survey date and any installation timetable are agreed separately. A general question can be sent without requesting installer contact.

Use the assessment to resolve the unknowns

The installer reviews roof condition, shade, orientation, access and the electrical supply. Mention a lease, shared roof, known designation, planned building work or existing solar equipment. These details help the survey focus on the decisions your property needs.

If an outbuilding or extension is under consideration, ask for its structure and cable route to be assessed. Photographs can prepare the discussion, but they should not be treated as a substitute for every technical check.

Read the scope before accepting

Ask for equipment models, layout, forecast generation, complete price and payment terms. Identify provisional costs and compare optional battery or charger work separately. Check the installer’s legal identity and any claimed certification through the relevant register.

Agree who handles permissions, network applications and building-control requirements. The chosen installer provides the contract and warranties. Bushey Solar does not carry out the installation or certify the design.

Keep a useful handover record

Request commissioning and electrical documents, equipment warranties, monitoring access, isolation instructions and an aftercare contact. Ask the installer to demonstrate the controls you will use and explain any battery backup limitations.

Confirm the export-tariff application steps with the supplier and keep the necessary certification. Store the documents for future maintenance, a property sale or changes to the system. A clear handover makes it easier to distinguish a monitoring issue from a fault requiring professional attention.
